Graphic Design
Elise Epp is a senior graphic designer at the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Her projects range from academic reports to videos to infographics, and she is particularly interested in how data visualization can be an impactful storytelling tool in technical research projects.
Through IISD, her work has been presented around the world, including at the World Bank, the United Nations, and in Science magazine. Elise was also part of a small team that won the Alda Centre’s Flame Challenge in the graphic category.
She has a B.Mus. from the University of Saskatchewan and studied graphic and web design at OCAD University in Toronto. She began her design career creating visual branding for small creative businesses.
Outside of IISD, Elise is the Executive Director of Fashion Revolution Canada, a chapter of the world’s largest fashion activism movement. In 2020, she was named in CBC Manitoba’s Future 40 list for her professional work with non-profit organizations as well as her community organization as a slow fashion activist.
